Jin H. Kim is a consulting attorney to Sparer Law Group. She received a B.A. and an M.A. in history from U.C. Berkeley in 1994 and 1996. She received her J.D. from Boalt Hall in 1999 and served as an articles editor of the California Law Review. After graduation, she clerked for Judge Jane Roth of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Kim began her litigation practice at the firm of Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin, where she became a partner in 2007 and vice-chair of the Securities and Financial Services Litigation Group in 2009.
Ms. Kim has more than a dozen years’ experience representing individuals and organizations in a wide variety of practice areas. In particular, she has represented directors and officers of Fortune 500 companies in securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits. In addition, she has represented numerous directors and officers, hedge funds and RIAs in investigations by the SEC and FINRA.
